I recently wrote an article on the 10 best Rotary Skeleton watches for men and promised I’d take a closer look at each one of the watches featured in that list. This model is another spectacular looking vintage style watch from Rotary so it should be interesting to take a closer look at it.

Watch Review
This is another Rotary watch with a more classic vintage finish. I’ll be honest and say I’d be inclinded to go for any of the other Rotary skeleton watches I’ve featured before, something about the dial design just feels a little off. That being said, many people do love this open heart skeleton dial design, it’s the 3 chronograph sub dials I’m not overly pleased with. The Roman numerals look nice though and are in keeping with that vintage style. Ths watch casing is PVD gold plated and made of stainless steel.
Type Of Crystal
There’s a specially hardened mineral crystal glass protecting the front and rear of the watch. This style of glass is specially hardened to offer extra scratch and knock resistance. It also offers a higher level of shatter resistance than sapphire glass.
Watch Movement
The watch features a Japanese automatic movement. This is a reliable movement that powers itself from the movement of the wearer’s wrist, meaning you no longer require any battery changes, saving you money in the long term.
Watch Size
Everything is kept pretty safe in terms of sizing, they’ve stuck with one of the most popular men’s sizing options being a 41mm casing diameter along with a standard 12mm casing thickness. This gives you a watch that should be suitable for most men.
Strap
The strap of the watch is made of a soft genuine leather that’s black in colour. It fastens with a fairly standard buckle style clasp that has matching PVD gold plating to the casing.
Extra features
A feature that I do really like is the exhibition caseback. This allows you to take a closer look at the inner workings of the automatic self-winding movement through the rear of the case.
Water Resistance Rating
This watch has a water resist rating of 100m. A rating of 100m / 10 Bar / 300ft makes this watch suitable for recreational surfing, swimming, snorkeling, sailing and water sports.

Watch Disadvantages

My Final Thoughts On This Rotary GS02375/01 Review:
The Rotary GS02375/01 isn’t the best in terms of looks in my opinion. Most people looking for a skeleton style watch want to see more of the movement through the dial and I feel the style of chronograph sub-dials they’ve used takes up a lot of this space. Other than that the watch is quite nice though, it uses a good Japanese automatic movement, as well as a soft leather strap. I don’t rate it as highly as previous watches, but that may be slightly down to personal preference.
