Rotary GB00350/04 Watch Review
The Rotary timepiece features a really nice high contrast dial design that makes it very easy to read. The chronograph sub dials are set out neatly allowing room for a small date display to be tucked between the 4 and 5 o’clock hour markers. The hands and hour markers have a small coating of lume making them more visible in dim lit conditions too.
The casing is made of a strong stainless steel with a polished finish. There are two chronograph pushers either side of the crown that’s located at the 3 o’clock position. Note that the crown is not screw down.
Type Of Crystal
This Rotary chronograph watch has a mineral crystal glass that’s commonly found at this price range. It’s a specially hardened glass that offers a good level of scratch and knock resistance. It’s not as strong as a sapphire crystal, but they’re typically found on more expensive watches.
Watch Movement
Powering the watch is a Swiss made precision quartz movement. These are often favoured over a Chinese movement as they’re much more reliable and accurate. Quartz movements require very little maintenance as well.
Watch Size
The casing diameter of this watch is approximately 40mm with a thickness of 13mm. Overall this is a decent size for a men’s watch as larger watches have become increasingly popular lately.
Strap
The strap is made of stainless steel and has a width of 20mm which goes well with the casing size of 40mm. The strap fastens with a fold over push-button release style clasp, something I quite like as opposed to a standard click down.
Water Resistance Rating
This watch has a rather simple 30m water resistance rating. A 30m or 3 bar rating makes this watch suitable for everyday use. Splash/rain resistant. Not suitable for showering, bathing, swimming, snorkelling, water related work and fishing.

Rotary are normally a very safe bet when it comes to quality and value for money, being one of the largest watch brands in the world has its advantages. Overall I’m I like the high visibility design, the watch is suitable for both casual or formal occasions in my opinion.
