Today I’m featuring the Rotary Automatic GS00309. You may also like our top 7 Rotary watches for men. Rotary was established in Switzerland in back in 1895. In the 1920’s they started to get imported into the British market and since then have gone on to grow in popularity.
Firstly let’s take a look at the specifications and watch features.
The case and dial: the dial features a mineral glass window to its analogue automatic display. The case diameter is 38mm with a thickness of 12mm. This is slightly smaller than you’ll find on a lot of today’s watches (40mm+) but makes it our to be a nice dress watch.

The Rotary GS00309/01 is a fantastic dress watch. It’s no secret I’m a massive fan of skeleton watches, you may have read our post earlier in the week showcasing them. I love the exposed open dial skeleton mechanical view. I think it’s great they’ve included an exhibition case back as this is one of my favourite parts of an automatic skeleton watch. The movement for the watch is classed as waterproof and can be worn for swimming but won’t be suitable for deep sea diving. It’s classic timeless design from Rotary. Be more than happy to wear this day to day or suited and booted.
