As always I wanted to take a look at the technical specifications for this watch before moving onto things in more details. This gives you the chance to have a quick glance over some of the most important aspects of the timepiece. For example, some people wouldn’t want to go for an overly large watch.

Invicta 8932 Dial and Casing Design

The Invicta 8932 has that typical diver watch style to it. The hands and hour markers are clearly visible against the black background and have a coating of lume for better visibility in dim lit conditions. The date display at the 3 o’clock position on the dial also has a magnifier above it making this easier to read at a glace.

The casing of this Invicta Pro Diver is made of stainless steel and has a diameter of 37mm with a thickness of 11mm. All in all, this is a pretty popular size for men’s watches at the moment. A uni-directional bezel prominently features on the timepiece with minute numbering and clear markers.

 

Strap & Clasp

The strap is made of stainless steel and has a width of 9mm which works nicely with the casing size. A simple fold-over clasp with added safety catch has been opted for to secure the bracelet. It’s not my personal favourite when it comes to claps but at this price range, I can’t say I’m surprised with this choice.

 

The Invicta 8932 Movement

At the heart of this men’s watch is a Japanese quartz movement. You typically see these in many affordable watches. They are actually quite accurate, being a quartz and are known to be very reliable. Quartz movements don’t require much when it comes to maintenance, so that’s a useful aspect to them.

 

Invicta 8932 Crystal

Protecting the front of this diving watch is a mineral crystal glass lens. Again in this price range, this is exactly what I expected to find. Mineral glass is specially hardened to offers a decent level of both scratch and shatter resistance.

8932 Water Resistance

The water resistance rating for this Invicta Pro Diver timepieces is 200m, also known as 20 bar. As per Wikipedia, this is suitable for professional marine activity, serious surface water sports and skin diving.

I’d say overall I’m pretty happy with this timepiece. I think it offers decent value for money for what it is. It’s quite well designed, has an easy to read display and an impressive 200m water resistance rating, and in this price range, I’d say that’s pretty good.
