Emporio Armani Chrono Watch AR5890 Review
Hello today I’m featuring a Emporio Armani AR5890 Review. I felt it would be interesting to take a look at one of Armani’s most popular men’s watches as I haven’t featured one in a little while. If you get a chance why not also check out my top 10 Armani watches.

My Initial Thoughts On This Watch
I like the use of the dark brown dial and matching strap mixed in with the rose gold casing. Overall aesthetically I think it’s a very nice watch. It’s everything you would expect from an Armani watch in my opinion, nice design, good parts and a fair price. Could you get a better watch for under £200? Perhaps, which is why I did my top 21 under £200 to help you pick what’s best for you.
Type of glass
As I expected this watch comes with a mineral glass. Mineral glass is pretty much in the middle when it comes to watch protection. Acrylic is your most basic found on the cheaper watches, then you get mineral in this price range, then top level is sapphire. In all honesty I wouldn’t expect a sapphire front on this type of watch so a mineral front suits me just fine. It’s specially hardened to resist most scratches and others can be buffed out.
Size
The diameter of the casing is 43mm which is considered a large. 42mm is really the new average for men’s watches so I’m pretty pleased with the 43mm. The thickness of the case is 10mm which is classed as average and would sit well with a watch of this size. You can expect this watch to sit nicely on your wrist without being too oversized.
Calendar
In an effort to fit a date display in nicely they’ve elected to go for the 4 o’clock position seating. Obviously with the chronograph feature it makes finding space for a date feature a little difficult on some dials so I think they pulled this one off nicely. Obviously it’s just a standard date display so you’ll have to reset it at the beginning of most months.
Watch strap and clasp
The watch strap is made of silicone with a width of 23mm, ever so slightly larger than the standard 20 – 22mm. The clasp is actually one of my favourite styles, a deployment clasp. I just think these are one of the nicest styles and are so easy to take your watch off and on with.

Conclusion
Whilst I do like this watch it’s not exactly going to be my first choice when it comes to an Armani watch, more just down to my personal preference more than anything else. The price offers a good value in my opinion when you consider the parts and the brand you’re going for. I do really like that they’ve gone for something nicer than a standard fold over clasp, as I mentioned deployment clasps are my favourite so I was very pleased with this feature. All in all it is a nicely designed watch from a brand that people love. If you love Armani watches and this is the one you’ve been considering for a while, then by all means go for it. It’s good value for money in my opinion.
