One of my favourite affordable GMT watches is this Swiss made model from Rotary. Rotary of course, being the popular Swiss watch manufacturer established in 1895. The green detailing is really appealing to me, not a colour I often see gone for. We are slowly coming to the end of this list of the best GMT watches for men. To be fair I could have featured a lot more Seiko watches, but I had to be sensible and limit it somewhat. This is another diver’s style timepiece from Seiko that features the GMT complication and is one of their best sellers. The Seiko Sportura GMT uses the popular Kinetic perpetual movement that we discussed earlier on, and has a 100m water resistance rating.

This is a high end Seiko diver’s watch, one of their most popular models. The watch features a very impressive diver’s 200m rating making it ISO certified and suitable for scuba diving at depths not suitable for saturation diving. It has a high visibility design with plenty of lume to make it easy to read in dim lit conditions. The GMT hand has an easy hour adjustment function which can come in useful. This Seiko diver uses a Kinetic GMT movement calibre 5M85 and has a sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating. A truly great watch that’s perfect if you’re after a diving timepiece with the GMT feature.

I figured this would be the ideal watch to end on. The Rolex GMT-Master II is for those of you with the highest of budgets. Although it was originally designed for professionals the Rolex GMT-Master became popular with the wider traveling public due to its peerless functionality and rugged great design. This would set you back over £6,000, so it’s perfect if money is no object to you.
