An In Depth Invicta Watches Review
So this has been an ongoing discussion online for many years now, you’ll find forum posts from back in 2006 questioning “Are Invicta watches good?” and do you know what you’ll find out? People still haven’t settled on it.
The Invicta watch brand was founded back in 1837 by Raphael Picard in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. In 1991 though, they were purchased by a United States-based investment company which makes Invicta Watch Group an American Company.
Invicta doesn’t produce their own in-house movements like some bigger watch brands, instead, they use popular Swiss or Japanese movements which are reliable and accurate.
Invicta actually produces a huge selection of watches, some of their most popular collections include the Pro Diver, Speedway, Subaqua, and the Russian Diver. They’re also known for their wide selection of oversized chunky watches. These bigger watches have quite a cult following, Invicta really excels in this area.
From automatic watches to quality quartz timepieces Invicta seems to offer something for everyone, so why are some people still unsure if Invicta is for them? That’s why I wanted to do a proper Invicta watches review
Are Invicta Watches Any Good?
For a lot of people it comes down to price, and this is where you’ll see people’s opinion on Invicta watches change. I’m thoroughly in the camp of ‘Any Invicta watches under £300’ are worth considering. Over that £300 mark and I’d probably recommend going for a different brand, and perhaps checking out our best watches under £500. It all comes down to Invicta watches reputation at the end of the day.
It’s fair to say that a lot of the best Invicta watches are from their range of Invicta watches under £100. Many of these have made it into our list today, their popular due to the relatively good value for money they offer, and their popular designs.
My personal opinion is that I’d say Invicta watches are good. I wouldn’t go much over £300 for one myself as like I said earlier, I’d start looking at other brands. But if you want a great looking watch that offers you some good value for money, then Invicta can be ideal.
8 Best Invicta watches most popular best-selling timepieces
1. Invicta Pro Diver Men’s Automatic 8926OB
This is one of the best Invicta watches available. It’s an affordable self-winding automatic with a 200m water resistance rating. It’s based on a submariner style design which has always been a popular choice. This model has an exhibition caseback that looks great as you can view the inner workings of the automatic movement. This one one of my favourite Invicta watches review of the past.

2. Invicta Pro Diver Swiss Automatic 9937OB
I know what you’re thinking, it looks exactly the same as the previous model right? That’s true they are both fairly similar looking watches, but it comes down to the specifications between these two. This is the higher end version of the previous watch, this model has a Swiss automatic movement, 200m water resistance and a durable flame-fusion crystal glass. This model also has an exhibition caseback. With all that does come the added cost, you can typically expect to pay double the price for it. When it comes down to Invicta watch quality though, this is one of their best in my opinion.

3. Invicta 0072 Quartz Chronograph
This is definitely what I would consider a bold timepiece, if you’re after something that’s going to stand out on your wrist, then this one is well worth considering. The watch is chunky and oversized with a 48mm casing diameter and 18mm thickness. If you like big watches I also recommend checking out the Invicta range. Having done many Invicta watch reviews in the past, I can assure you there are plenty to choose from.
I haven’t got a full Invicta 0072 review yet but I’ll add it in once I have it ready. You can find out the price on Amazon.
4. Invicta Pro Diver 8928OB Unisex Automatic Watch
This is one of my preferred models as I think it looks the most stunning, to be honest. The blue on the dial really makes the watch stands out, and I’d say they’ve done a pretty good job with their two-tone finish on the watch. It’s classed as a unisex watch but keep in mind it is 40mm which is fairly large for a women’s watch. This model has an automatic Japanese movement and 200m water resistance as you’d expect from their Pro Diver series.

5. Invicta 9204 Japanese Quartz Pro Diver Watch
This is possibly one of the cheapest Invicta watches that will be featured in today’s list. It’s another model with this stunning blue dial design that I really like. It has a Japanese Quartz movement that’s accurate and reliable and also comes with 200m water resistance.

6. Invicta 9212 Speedway Quartz Chronograph Quartz Watch
This is another quite luxurious looking watch from Invicta that’s actually really affordable. It’s part of their Speedway series which feature some of the next most popular Invicta watches vs the Pro Diver series. The dial design really stands out on this watch, that texturing makes the watch look a lot more expensive than it is. As with the other watches, I think they’ve done really well with this two-tone finish. The watch uses a Japanese Quartz movement, has luminescent hands & hour markers, and also has a stop watch function. To top it off it still comes with an impressive 200m water resistance.

7. Invicta Pro Diver 6986 Swiss Quartz Chronograph
This is another popular oversized watch from Invicta. This one has a 48mm casing diameter and a 17mm thickness, again it’s pretty huge and chunky and I know some people love the Invicta brand for their bigger watches. A feature I liked in this design was the semi-exposed date display that you don’t see all that often. As for components, this is another higher end model with a Swiss Quartz movement and 100m water resistance.

8. Invicta 3644 Speedway Men’s Japanese Quartz Watch
This is another one of the most popular Invicta watches in the Speedway series. It’s very similar to the Invicta 9212 but uses different colours. This watch uses a Japanese quartz movement, the Hattori Caliber VD53 to be precise. The chronograph sub dials include a 60 seconds, 60 minutes, and 24 hours display. Other functions of the watch include a date display and tachymeter. With a 200m water resistance rating, you won’t have to worry about getting this Invicta watch wet either.
I’m yet to get a full Invicta 3644 review, but when I do I’ll update this page to include it here. You can check the current price of this watch on Amazon.

From my experience many of the mechanisms are Chinese, nothing wrong with that but case has ref. to being somehow Swiss. A little naughty! My current Invicta 15081 is very reliable. When changing the battery the mechanism turned out to be Chinese and not Swiss.
